Strong now is the thought
Fleeting now is my heart
Oh Fear
Oh Woe

Oh these halls of silver
this place of gold.
It shines in mine eyes
too beautiful...terrible to behold

This terrible lie
This horrible place
filled to the top with sin
holds no warmth in its embrace

Oh Fear
Oh Woe
here love - pure unadaultered love -
is mingled with sorrow.

And nothing is sacred,
no nothing lasts.
Only deeds here are recorded.
Saint and sinner alike in their pasts.

But behold
Oh Fear
and take heed
Oh Woe

For one thing only stands,
thwarting the tests of time.
Hope yet is found...
Oh Glory! It is yours and it is mine!

I was reading Lord of the Rings FOTR and Haldir said "Love is now mingled with grief" and is so reminded me of how I feel here on earth that this poem came out....one of the very few I have that rhyme soo enjoy.....
