Lost with Legolas

*sigh*
I have been reading the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (starting with the wonderful prequel The Hobbit) and I am successfully lost in them. How I would love to tramping all over Middle Earth with my beloved Hobbits and their companions....but alas I am here in a stuffy log cabin forced to endure the continuous nagging of my parents. Oh and there's that bit that Middle Earth doesn't exsist....but that is only a minor detail.

My favorite part right now is the parts where Legolas speaks...When I first read the series...many moons ago(in fact this is my third time reading them)...I tended to skip parts. I was a foolish reader then. But now I'm noticing all these places where Legolas plays a major part....such as in the forest of Lothlorien. He is the reason the company is accepted not Aragorn (such as is in the movie).

I wish that they had included when Legolas sings in the movie....in fact I would have liked to hear any of them sing like from the books....but instead it is just Pippin and Aragorn....*tear* Ah well if you want something done right do it yourself.

I'm kinda depressed today.....everything seems to be against me. Amy called me this morning to figure out what we're doing this evening and she told me that she spent the night at Britta's last night. Now don't get me wrong I had tons of fun with Carrie at Jon's appartment but this is the second time they've done this without even bothering to ask me if I'd like to join them. And this time my friend Kim was there..... Then I find that a couple of my other friends went out on the town too....It isn't that they don't invite me....Its ok I understand but It seems to me that I get left out alot....

Oh bother is isn't the end of the world....I will just lay back into the comforting arms of Legolas Greenleaf....and get lost in the Land of the Elves.....
