Well, Its that time again. I'm headed to my humble abode in loverly South Dakota. In case you were wondering I'm attending a school in Minnesota, near Chanhassen and all those funky little suburbs by Minneapolis. Today is my last official 'day' at college. Tomorrow at 11 or so I will be in Ebenezer, making that 4.5 hr drive back to my log cabin in the snowless tundra that is SD.
There is no real point to this blog post. I just want to complain about my laptop. You see, I have been leasing a laptop (this one, his name is Gustav...he say's "hi") from my school. Our tech department gives me this computer to 'take care of" *cough* destroy *cough* for $225 dollars a semester. Oh I know its a steal. They take my money and give me a crap computer worth half the ammount I pay for it.
Anyways, the real problem is that I'm going home for a month, and they want it back. I understand that they need to clean it, and take care of it, so I don't ruin it while I'm in SD, but I take it on that journey every time I go home for a break or a weekend, and there was no problem then. I don't see why I can't take it with me now.... *pouts*
Sigh. There is a 150 dollar fine for not giving it back. And then! I have to pay for it. And then! They take all the programs off. If they can find me that is....
