Hook – ed on Pa hon icks work ed fer meh!

This is the story of a little girl named Aymie. One day after a nap she decided to go play in the woods(woodes?woodsen?) .

While she was playing by big willow tree she heard a noise. The noise came again, but this time closer. Aymie whispered...

"Hello?"

Suddenly something came flying through the underbrush making aymie fall backwards onto the ground. Aymie only fell backwards onto the soft leaves. When she looked up there stood the oddest looking creature she'd ever seen. At first glance it was a duck, but when she looked closer she saw that it had four legs!

"Hello there? Are you alright?" she asked tentatively.

"Quack, I'm fine! But man did I get a scare!" The duck stretched out its leg and Aymie could see that attached was a small piece of paper."What happened?" she asked coming a bit closer..."I don't know when I woke from my nappy this was tied to my leg. But alas I cannot untie the note." The duck hobbled over to her sticking his leg out so she could get a better look.

"Well, I could try. I'm Aymie by the way." She said as she began to untie the note.

The duck asked "Oh A-M-Y?"

"No...A-Y-M-I-E" She stated matter-o-factly.

"Oh! Wow! Well My name is Brian...thats B- R- I - V-O-L-B-N-the number 7 the letter q!" Aymie giggled, but she finally got the note untied.

"Whats it say?!" asked Brivolbn7q "I can't read!"

"Well, my mom put me in the Hooked on Phonics program so I can read wonderfully...lets see here..." and she began to sound out the words..."oh-v-er i-nn t-heh meh - doh wah i-sss a fl-ock o-v go- at - en th- at ten- des to sta- mmm- ped eh" she said

Brivolbn7q said "What does that mean?"

"I'm not sure, whats a Go at en?" she asked.

Suddenly a huge herd of goaten came running through the trees. The two friends jumped up and stared at them gaping...After they passed through woods and were gone leaving only a cloud of dust.

Aymie turned to her four legged duck friend and said..."Well it would've been nice if the note had warned us about that..."
