The next day was of course Thanksgiving but I didn't eat turkey. No, instead we invited some friends of the family over and we had a ham dinner. It was good, the food and the company. Since none of my family was available that day, I joined my best friend Ames and her family (aka my second home) for her twins sisters birthday party and pie. After that I went to a movie with Carebear. The Prestige is an amazing movie... I recommend it.
Friday morning I went out to dinner with my gpa Leo and an uncle I'd never met. D and his wife are amazing and I'm loving the new additions to my family. After that I spent some time in the mall looking for the ellusive khaki pants, but that's another blog. Now here is where it starts to get interesting. Friday night I went to the pizza ranch...for Thankgiving supper with my dad's side of the family. Now don't get me wrong, I like pizza and chicken as much as the next guy but man was I dissapointed. Normally its this magnificent feast at my aunt's house but not this year....chicken...sigh. Plus, this girl, whom my mother has adopted as her mentoree, joined us...and went to the parade of lights AND stayed the night..AND...had dinner with my mom's family the next day! I don't know what is more annoying, the fact that she was there or that she was all helpful and things too! I may sound selfish but I don't like it when ppl who aren't in our family come to our family functions....grrr
There was one brightspot in my weekend though...and here he is in all his toddling glory!

The pizza ranch wouldn't be called the Green Mill, would it? My parents took my grandma there. I laughed at them having pizza. I was informed that they did a Thanksgiving spread.
